Rosemary has been used for centuries by many different societies as a sacred herb, including the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans. Rosemary soothes pain and aches in your muscles and supports healthy digestion through the Immune System. When diffused aromatically, the strong, herbaceous scent of Rosemary opens the conscious mind and stimulates memory. Steam distilled from the flowering plant, this oil affects the Nervous and Respiratory Systems. When blended with another oil like Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Lavender, Marjoram, Basil, or Peppermint, Rosemary acts to enhance the properties of these oils.
When applied topically, it does not need dilution. But if you have sensitive skin combine 1 drop oil with 1 drop Fractionated Coconut Oil and rub on reflex points or area of concern. When taken internally, use a capsule, in cooking, 1-2 drops under the tongue, diluted 1 drop in 1 tsp honey or in 4 oz of beverage. Do not use if pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, or dealing with high blood pressure.
