White Fir affects the respiratory system by clearing breathing and increasing respiratory function. It is well known for its ability to relieve sore muscles and joints. Steam distilled from the soft needles of the plant, White Fir has been used historically because of its fragrant scent and its ability to affect respiratory issues, fever, and pain from muscles or rheumatism.
White Fir’s fresh and earthy fragrance stimulates the mind and energizes the body, creating a feeling of empowerment. It can be applied topically, but can be too strong for sensitive skin. It is best to dilute it 1 drop to 1 drop Fractionated Coconut Oil and apply it to the affected area or to reflex points. White Fir can also be take internally by diluting 1 drop with 1 tsp honey, 4 oz of beverage or a capsule.
Frankincense and Lavender are wonderful complimentary oils and White Fir acts as an equalizer which creates harmony between the oils.
